Obstreperously means noisily or boisterously, particularly in a manner showing resistance or opposition.
As in (of course this would never really happen)… After he stashed the “power up” into an inaccessible area during a game of capture the flag, his older sister obstreperously responded that his rules were not fair.
Why did I learn what “obstreperously” means? Because I found it near the beginning of Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott. I didn’t know what it meant, so I looked it up.
